Hartlepool United manager Ronnie Moore has tipped striker Rakish Bingham to hit the goals this season after labelling him with the tag of the best finisher at the club.
According to reports in the Hartlepool Mail, Moore is tipping his summer signing for big things this season with the striker showing some scintillating form during pre-season.
The ex-Mansfield Town player has netted six times for the Pools in friendly outings and Moore has backed Bingham to be his leading striker during the forthcoming campaign.
Moore who led the Pools to safety from the brink of relegation last season will be hoping for a better campaign this time around.
That will mean all of his strikers hitting the scoring trail and he has been impressed with their application during the pre-season schedule.
Moore told the Hartlepool Mail: "I have been very pleased with Rakish, we know what he is all about.
"He is probably the best finisher at the club and he will always get you goals.
"I know there are goals in Bings, we have seen that this pre-season. We not worried with that part of our play."
Hartlepool will be looking to challenge at the right end of the table this season and in Moore they have a manager who can guide them on to greater things this season.
It was an extremely nervous season for Pools fans last year, after the club narrowly avoided relegation to the Conference - so there will be optimism among Hartlepool fans this summer.
