Have the wheels come off the Leeds push for promotion? The Elland Road faithful will surely be worried as their side fell out of the play-offs last weekend.

Like Reading and Huddersfield, the Whites had yet to leave the top six since they first reached it at the start of the season, but now face a tetchy final three games as finishing in the play-offs goes from certainty to a possibility.

Wolverhampton Wanderers came to Elland Road and stunned their opposition by winning 1-0 on Saturday, and fingers will be inevitably be pointed as the club scrap to have a shot at promotion.

It means Garry Monk’s side have now lost three, drawn one and won one in their last five games.

This downturn in form appears to have stemmed from their defeat at Reading, and a few scapegoats have, perhaps harshly, emerged as a result.
