Derby County have suffered a slight dip in form in recent weeks, which has seen them slip out of the play-off places, which they have occupied for the majority of the season.

They'll be keen to get their play-off push back on track as soon as possible, but with eight league games remaining, they need to put a good run together.

One man that will be key to any promotion push they have is on-loan winger, Harry Wilson, who has looked like their main attacking threat this season.

The Welshman is seemingly full of confidence as well, as he mocked Derby team-mate, Fikayo Tomori during training by nutmegging the defender in a post on his Instagram story.

Tomori and Wilson have made a positive impact at both ends of the pitch for Frank Lampard's side this season and will be keen to put in a good shift heading towards the conclusion of this year's campaign.

Wilson is currently on loan from Liverpool, and it will be interesting to see whether he can break into Jurgen Klopp's first-team when he returns to Anfield in the summer.

Whilst Tomori is on loan from Chelsea, and he will fancy his chances at forcing his way into the first-team picture after staking a strong claim after a number of impressive performances for the Rams this season.

Derby are next in action when they take on relegation-threatened, Rotherham United this weekend, in a game where they will be expected to pick up a vital three points to help aid their bid for a top six finish.

The Verdict:

The pair will be crucial to Derby's play-off push.

Both Wilson and Tomori have been at the centre of their impressive performances this season, and they have thrived under the guidance of Frank Lampard.

Wilson in particular will have a say in which direction their season heads in.
