Harry Redknapp signing a new deal at Birmingham City has brought some prosperity and excitement for the Blues supporters ahead of next season, as they look to climb the Championship table.

I'm sure the former Tottenham Hotspur, Portsmouth and Queens Park Rangers boss will look to overhaul the current crop of players, but has proven he won't start from scratch as several first-team members have already put pen-to-paper on deals at the club.

It will be a summer transfer window of constant rumours as the likes of Peter Crouch are destined to reunite with their ex-manager, although one of the footballers who didn't get as much game time as they had wished should return to St. Andrew's next year.

Jerome Sinclair was a promising talent when he graduated from the Liverpool academy, however, the youngster was snatched up by Watford in the summer of 2016.

Following a lack of regular minutes for the Hornets first-team, the 20-year-old was shipped out on loan to Birmingham City in January in the hope he'd develop with consistent games - which proved to not be the case.

Sinclair earned just five league appearances in the four months he was in the Midlands and failed to bag a single goal, enough for supporters to avoid speculation of him coming back.

Although, I think if Redknapp gave the centre-forward an increased number of matches then I am sure he would become the focal point of the Blues' attack - it's just starts that he needs.

As well as that, Watford are unlikely to deny an approach of loaning Jerome Sinclair so it really is a no brainer and he'd contribute with determination and hard work.

Birmingham City supporters, would you welcome Jerome Sinclair back to the club? What other striking targets should the boss chase? Give us your thoughts in the comments below!
