Huddersfield Town have recently completed a deal to sign Andy King on loan from Leicester City for the remainder of the season.

King had spent the first-half of this year's campaign on loan with Scottish giants Rangers, but failed to make a notable impact as he made just five appearances for Steven Gerrard's side in all competitions.

So, it came as no surprise to see the midfielder briefly heading back to the King Power Stadium before being loaned out again.

King has made 375 appearances in total for Leicester City, which includes a number of outings in the 2015/16 season, where the Foxes won the Premier League title.

But since then, King has struggled for consistent game time, and he'll be keen to make up for lost time with the Terriers this year in the Championship.

King took to Twitter following the announcement, and labelled it as a 'new chapter' in his career and is evidently eager to get started with his new team-mates.

King's former Leicester City team-mate, and now Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire was quick to respond to King's message on social media, and was evidently pleased to see the midfielder earn a move to a new club.

King could be in line to make his Huddersfield debut this weekend, when the Terriers host promotion-chasing Brentford, in what is certain to be a tricky test for Cowley's side.

Can you name the entire Huddersfield starting XI from their play-off final win over Reading?

The Verdict:

I think King will do a fine job for Huddersfield if he can adjust well to his new surroundings.

He didn't have the best of loan spells with Rangers recently, and he'll be hoping he can get back to his best with Danny Cowley's side this term.

King needs to find his best form as quickly as possible though, as Huddersfield are firmly in a relegation battle in the Championship this season.
