Birmingham City carried on their fine run of form to secure their third-successive win, after beating fellow Championship side Burton Albion 1-0 in the FA Cup. 

The Blues have been struggling to breathe down at the bottom of the Championship with a relegation fight becoming the reality for Steve Cotterill's side, as they currently sit in 23rd position.

Birmingham City find themselves sitting pretty in the next-round of the FA Cup, after a second-half goal from on loan Southampton striker Sam Gallagher saw them force a victory at St Andrew's.

The goalscorer has been crucial to the sides run of form they're currently enjoying, having managed to find the back of the net in 2 of their last 3 games in all competitions.

Nevertheless, with the striker being a pivotal part of their quest to make it out of the relegation zone from here on until the end of the season.
