Millwall earned themselves a hard-fought point yesterday afternoon at Portman Road in a proper Championship clash.

The Lions were taking on Ipswich Town and it was clear from the off that both were going to throw all they could into the clash as they served up a very watchable game.

Ultimately, though, the spoils were shared and the Lions will now be looking to ensure that they take all three points this weekend from Bristol City now, to ensure their play-off hopes remain firmly alive and well.

The men from the New Den have had a top campaign and at home they have proven fierce so they should be confident that they can boost their chances on Saturday and, in turn, dent Bristol City's hopes.

Indeed, that is something Neil Harris is looking to do with him throwing down this exciting sounding gauntlet ahead of the match:

Clearly, it's now showtime for Harris and his players and he is looking for the club to get into the top six with a win and other results going his way this weekend.

The way things have gone recently, too, you'd certainly not be surprised.

The Verdict

You have to doff your cap to Millwall and applaud them for what has been a top season for them.

They've gone under the radar perfectly and still, for some reason, don't have that weight of expectancy on them despite their position.

They're playing freely and with heart and that could just prove the perfect mix to finish this campaign in style.
