Perhaps the surprise package of the Football League alongside Shrewsbury Town, Millwall have surpassed all expectations to launch a Championship play-off push in their first year back in the second-tier.

Neil Harris' men found their way into the division via the play-offs and there is a distinct possibility that the end of season shoot-out specialists could be in with a chance of repeating their antics and earning passing to the Premier League.

Whatever happens at The Den this year the squad is set to completely change in the summer, with the top stars certain to be poached by those higher up the football pyramid and some to be moved on to new clubs.

This trio could be at danger when Harris wields the axe, but the former striker should consider sending the three out on loan for a season rather than removing them from South London for good...

The young Nigerian has been handed plenty of opportunities by Harris this term but has yet to seize one, with a loan move to League One perhaps the best move for the striker.

Only twenty-one, Onyedinma has a lot to learn about the game and doesn't appear ready to tackle the demands of the Championship just yet, but rediscovering his confidence during a bountiful spell at a lower level could see him return to the Den ready take on a starting role.

The youngster could score a lot of goals in the right system, with third-tier sides certain to battle furiously to secure his services should he become available.

The 26-year-old hasn't appeared as regularly as he would have liked due to the form of his teammates and perhaps the Northern Irishman needs some time away to find his feet once again.

The Lions' top form has counted against the winger who has struggled to adapt since stepping up from League One and he needs a spell with a side where he will play consistently in order to get a feel for the division.

Millwall must now be considered a top half side and Ferguson isn't quite at that level, but could be should he impress in the lower reaches of the league.

A good loan spell could provide him with a future at his parent club.

The academy graduate is another that has struggled since the Lions moved up and despite appearing regularly since his debut, has found it difficult breaking into the side this term.

There is no doubt that the 22-year-old has a future at Millwall and the crowd in South London love nothing more than a local lad breaking into the first-team; Harris would be mad to sell him.

What he does need however is regular competitive action and this is something he won't achieve at The Den as it stands.
