Cardiff supporters will be very happy with the start that Neil Harris has made as manager, and will be optimistic about the rest of the season.

He's come in and replaced a manager who was very well liked at the club, so it was always going to be tough to ensure that he could be as adored as Neil Warnock by Bluebirds fans.

His first three games have been near perfection and Harris has managed to pick up seven points from a possible nine games.

This will have pleased the Cardiff City faithful massively, and they will believe now that there's an opportunity that they can push on to finish in the play-offs this season.

One particular part of the season that always intrigues supporters is the January transfer window, this has become even more interesting due to the fact that Cardiff now have a new manager in Harris.

Questions are already being asked about whether he'll go back in for some of the Millwall players that he has worked with or whether he will look for different targets.

Harris has already made some bold statements in his team selection and has chosen to drop Sean Morrison for Curtis Nelson. This is a big call and one that has so far worked to perfection as Cardiff picked up clean sheets in games against Stoke and Nottingham Forest.

Fans will want to know who he wants to bring in and whether he has available funds to bring in players of particular quality. Once targets are set then we can really assess Harris and his squad, especially if they manage to bring in some of his transfer targets.

The manager has so far got them defending well again, but also looking a threat when they do go forward. It seems as though Nathaniel Mendez-Laing is one of the players that he rates highly in the attacking positions, meaning that there could be potential departures as well in the forward line.

Harris will have his own plans but he can't do anything to erratic as if he were to get rid of a Cardiff fan favourite, then that would already put him under pressure to show that the decision is justified to the supporters.
