Bristol City's Han-Noah Massengo has said that being a regular member of the first-team has been his favourite aspect of life at Ashton Gate so far.

Lee Johnson surprised many when he swooped to sign an 18-year-old Massengo from Monaco last summer. He was a recognised prospect at the club and was even involved with the first-team, but he's since come to Bristol City and become an important first-team player.

In France, Massengo was getting the odd shot at first-team football, but they were sporadic - he made three Ligue 1 appearances, and even featured in the Champions League amongst other cup competitions.

But in the Championship, the Frenchman has become one of the most highly-regarded youngsters in the division, and has proved to be a hit amongst the Bristol City fans as well.

Speaking to www.bcfc.co.uk about life in Bristol, Massengo asserted his happiness at the amount of first-team football he's played under Johnson so far: "The best thing about my move has been that I am playing regularly. At Monaco I played only seven games and after two months with the first team I was in the second team.

"Here I am part of the first team, I am playing and that is best for me because I want to improve and become more experienced. I was attracted by the project, when the gaffer spoke to me about this and what he wants from me and how I can develop here and immediately I want to come here."
