Leeds United have been handed a real boost with the news that they're likely to keep Ben White for the rest of the season.

Reports from the Yorkshire Evening Post claim there is 'no chance' of the 22-year-old returning to Brighton in the January transfer window.

It's claimed that the Premier League side would only have been able to recall the player if he had failed to play a certain percentage of Leeds' games, but having missed only 45 minutes of action all season it seems that this is no longer an option.

White has been a revelation since arriving at Elland Road, leading to reported interest from Liverpool and Manchester United in the defender.

However the news that White will be staying with Marcelo Bielsa's side until at least the end of the season is excellent news.
