West Bromwich Albion forward Hal Robson-Kanu has taken to Twitter to respond to the club's positive post about his performances in recent weeks.

The 30-year-old, who signed a new deal with the Baggies earlier this season, has played a key role in his side's push for promotion in the Championship.

As well illustrating that he has an eye for goal, Robson-Kanu's sublime hold-up play has allowed West Brom to sustain attacks.

Having recently reversed his decision to retire from international football, the forward will be looking to claim a place in Wales' squad for Euro 2020 by delivering the goods on a consistent basis in the Championship.

With the Baggies set to face Bristol City on Saturday, Robson-Kanu will be determined to guide the club to a positive result at Ashton Gate.

Currently top of the Championship standings, West Brom could potentially extend the gap between them and their nearest rivals Leeds United to seven points by beating the Robins.

After the club's official Twitter account posted a message regarding Robson-Kanu, the forward responded on the social media platform.

The 30-year-old tweeted: "teamwork is dream-work."

The Verdict

When you consider that Robson-Kanu has opted to highlight the combined effort that his team-mates have made in recent weeks instead of focusing on his individual efforts, it illustrates the current mentality at the Hawthorns.

Given that automatic promotion is on the agenda for West Brom, the togetherness of their squad could play a key role in helping them achieve this particular goal in May.

Whilst Robson-Kanu knows that he will have to maintain his form in order to fight off competition from Charlie Austin and Kenneth Zohore, there is no reason why he cannot play a pivotal role for the Baggies over the coming months.

Having scored in West Brom's 4-1 victory over Bristol City in November, the forward will be determined to replicate this particular feat at Ashton Gate this weekend.
