Former Leeds United winger Hadi Sacko has taken to Twitter to congratulate midfielder Mateusz Klich on his brace at the weekend.
The Polish international ended his dry run in front of goal for Leeds United with two goals against Middlesbrough to seal a 4-0 victory for the Whites at Elland Road.
With the score at 1-0 heading towards half time, Leeds doubled their lead when a deflected cut-back fell into the path of Klich, whose then deflected shot wrong-footed Aynsley Pears in goal. His second came as Leeds’ fourth and there was no luck involved in this one. Following a short corner routine, Klich received a pass just outside the penalty area to the left, where he opened his body and curled a shot into the far top corner, again leaving Pears with no chance.
These two goals took his tally for the season to three after his penalty away at Barnsley earlier in the season opened his account. The midfielder has been exceptional for Marcelo Bielsa in every aspect aside from his output in the final third, which has been lacking compared to last season’s double-figure tally.
However, with his confidence boosted, the players were eager to make it known how happy they were for him in his celebrations. Former Leeds player Hadi Sacko also eager to show his appreciation for Klich getting back amongst the goals at Elland Road, he took to Twitter to congratulate him:

There was a huge element of relief around Elland Road when Klich broke his barren spell on the stroke of half time because everyone knows what he is capable of and were eager to see him return to that level, with his hard work showing he more than deserves it.
Up next for the Whites is a trip to Huddersfield Town where Klich will be hoping that he can add to his two goals against Middlesbrough.
