Bristol City were knocked out of the FA Cup on Tuesday night, as they lost 1-0 away at League One side Shrewsbury.
It was a bitterly disappointing result made worse by the fact that the Robins knew, had they beaten Shrewsbury, they would have Champions League winners Liverpool in the next round.
Despite sitting eight in the Championship, not all supporters are happy with the inconsistency that Lee Johnson and his side have shown this season.
The manager has come in for criticism throughout the last month, and will have done so once again after last night’s poor display.
If they don’t achieve their ambition of a play-off place then there may well be future questions raised about the long-term future of Johnson and whether he’s up for the job of taking them to the Premier League.
Here’s how Bristol City supporters reacted to Johnson’s post-match interview…

Starting to feel the pressure, getting ratty in the interview. Over 2 legs??? Wasn’t a home and away fixture should of been won at home against a team who ain’t won in 5 and middle of league 1. OUT OF YOUR DEPTH LJ

Sorry Lee. You got outplayed twice by a team in Division 1, and we want promotion from the Championship. Saying that we did okay, and got done by a wonder-goal isn’t good enough. Fed up of seeing a team with few ideas and no movement – maybe it’s time for a change.

I'm glad you can finally see what went wrong, only took two attempts to understand. If you want the best for the club, leave, you and Ashton are not improving this club. The football we are playing is embarrassing. You have had your chance, IT'S TIME TO GO!

We are 8th you muppets!! He ain't going anywhere!! One point off play offs with a decent striker in coming. How many of you have watched city the last 30 years? Best few years at a good level. Every other time weve made a change we've gone backwards!! Keep the faith

I think I could predict word for word the same old post match interview! With the rumours of losing parts of the dressing room, backed up by these performaces with no plan B
