‘Had a good game’, ‘Not even League One standard’ – These Norwich City fans are split over individual after Millwall draw

It was a frustrating night for Norwich City on Wednesday, as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Millwall at The Den.
Despite both sides showing plenty of attacking intent, neither were able to find a breakthrough, with both struggling to really trouble the opposition goalkeeper on anything like a regular basis.
That result means that Norwich are now winless in their last three games in all competitions, failing to score in that time, although they are still top of the Championship table, seven points clear of the play-off places.
As a result, there was plenty to discuss for the club’s supporters as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game, with the performance of Dimitris Giannoulis a particular talking point.
The left-back was handed his second start for the club following his January move from PAOK, and his showing during the game, certainly seemed to leave fans split.
While some were encouraged by what they saw from the full-back against Millwall, others were seemingly far from convinced, and will need to see much more from Giannoulis to be confident in his place in the side.
Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say about the 25-year-old’s latest outing for Daniel Farke’s side.
Still early days with Giannoulis, Boro & Millwall bk to bk is certainly a welcome to England baptism. A few shakey moments with the intensity & physicality but 2 clean sheets from 2 poor team performances and some glimpses of his attacking strengths. More to come for sure #ncfc

Giannoulis had a good game #ncfc

Think Giannoulis looks terrible to be honest! And his team mates seem to snub him too. I’d start with Idah and McLean on Friday. Probably drop Cantwell too… #ncfc

Iโm not at all convinced Giannoulis defends well, he looks weak & slow. I was led to believe heโd offer an attacking threat but heโs not doing that either. Early days but 2 matches in & he looks worse than both Lungi & Xavi #ncfc

Sure he’ll find his feet but Giannoulis was absolutely useless tonight.
Forget Championship, not even League 1 standard. #ncfcโ Phil (@GKviews) February 2, 2021
I know itโs still early days, but Giannoulis has been poor for #ncfc so far. But then again, our defence has been lucky so far #ncfc

Rupp & Skipp doesnโt work for me, too defensive & offer nigh on zero goal threat. Iโd start Vrancic alongside Skipp with Dowell as a 10 Friday. Iโd even think about taking Giannoulis out also until he gets up to speed and bring back Sorensen. #ncfc
