Nottingham Forest's start to the Championship season ended in heartbreak as they lost 2-1 to Coventry City on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds started strongly and took the lead on 36 minutes, with Lyle Taylor tapping in at the far post following Brennan Johnson's lung-busting run and ball across goal.

But City fought back and improved in the second half, with Viktor Gyokeres firing in from close-range from Callum O'Hare's pull-back.

Deep into stoppage-time, the Sky Blues found a late winner. Forest were unable to deal with Gustavo Hamer's free-kick, and Kyle McFadzean found a way underneath Brice Samba to snatch all three points for the hosts.

Despite conceding late on, there were positives to take from the defeat. Johnson showed his ability to create something from nothing, whilst Loic Mbe Soh looked solid in defence.

Mbe Soh was given the nod following a calf injury to Joe Worrall two days before the game, with the young Frenchman looking calm and assured alongside Scott McKenna.

The 20-year-old won his physical battles and also looked comfortable at playing the ball out from the back. It was his pass which found Johnson, which ultimately led to Johnson's goal.

But Mbe Soh hobbled off shortly before half-time with a groin problem, being replaced by Tobias Figueiredo and leaving him sidelined for potentially an unfortunate period of time.

Here, we take a look at Forest fans' reactions to his performance at the weekend...
