Birmingham City face one of the toughest challenges in English football after they were drawn away to Manchester City in the third round of the FA Cup.

The draw, which took place earlier this evening, pulled out an away trip to Pep Guardiola’s side, with the game to take place on the weekend of January 9.
It’s a daunting task for Aitor Karanka’s side, and Blues’ recent struggles in the Championship won’t give them much confidence ahead of the trip to Manchester.
A goalless draw against Millwall last time out leaves the West Midlands outfit in 17th position, with Blues managing just ten goals in 14 league games so far.
