Hull City are on the lookout for a new manager, after the club announced on Sunday evening that they had parted ways with Leonid Slutsky.

Appointed in the summer, the Russian boss struggled to address the Tigers horrific defensive capabilities, with his side holding the unenviable record of conceding the most goals in the league this season, level with bottom side Burton Albion.

Slutsky leaves the club in twentieth position, just three points ahead of the relegation places, and the search for his replacement will begin almost immediately.

Former Southampton and Reading boss Nigel Adkins is the favourite to succeed the former Russia and CSKA Moscow manager, but a deal is yet to be agreed.
