A number of Birmingham City supporters have been reacting to the latest report from Football Insider that Leeds United are confident of completing a deal to sign Amari Miller by 1st July.

Miller is one of the best prospects emerging from Birmingham’s academy at the moment and the 18-year-old was handed the chance to impress by Lee Bowyer in the first-team towards the end of last season.

In total, he managed to make five appearances in the Championship for the Blues as they comfortably survived the drop.

The Blues had offered Miller a professional deal but it looks like they will now be set to lose the 18-year-old during the summer transfer window.

It had been reported that Everton were potentially interested in securing a move for Miller, with the Toffees thought to have been closely monitoring his situation at St Andrews.

However, it seems that Leeds have won the race to secure Miller’s long-term future and the Premier League side are now in advanced talks to complete a deal, according to Football Insider. The same report also outlines that they are confident that they can wrap up a deal for him by the 1st July.

Many Birmingham fans were left frustrated by this update, but some were keen to stress that Miller does not owe them anything while others were annoyed he had chosen to depart the club.
