Cardiff City forward Isaac Vassell is set to be out of action for around six to eight weeks after tearing a quadricep muscle, manager Neil Warnock has revealed.

The 26-year-old signed for the Bluebirds from Birmingham City for £2m in the summer, and scored on his debut for the club against Luton Town last month.

But the attacker has made only two more appearances for Warnock's side since his debut strike, and now looks set to spend a lengthy amount of times with injury.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of their trip to Hull City, Warnock revealed that Vassell would be out for nearly two months, due to a torn quadricep muscle.

It's another bitterly disappointing and frustrating blow for Vassell, who spent the first-half of last season on the sidelines through a knee injury.

Cardiff have made a stuttering start to life back in the Championship, and this is an injury blow that they could really do without as they look to start climbing the league table.

Here, we take a look at how Bluebirds fans have reacted to this news...
