Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen played a starring role for the Tigers once again last night as they hammered Preston North End 4-0, which has left many Whites supporters calling for the club to sign him in January.

Alex Neil's side have been competing at the top of the Championship this season but slumped to a second defeat in five days at the KCOM Stadium last night.

Bowen grabbed a brace for the hosts–opening the scoring on the half-hour mark and then adding the fourth inside the last 15 minutes.

Josh Magennis scored Hull's second from the penalty spot three minutes into the second half and then Kamil Grosicki latched onto a smart delivery from Bowen to add the third.

The result means Hull climb to ninth in the Championship and are now just four points adrift of the top six.

Grant McCann has Bowen to thank for a lot of that success, as the 22-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided four assists in all competitions this season.

That form has not gone unnoticed around the league and following last night's display against Preston, many Leeds fans took to Twitter to call for their club to move for the forward in January.
