Queens Park Rangers have received an offer for Luke Freeman from newly promoted Sheffield United, according to The Sun.

The Blades have reportedly tabled a £4million bid for the midfielder's services, as Chris Wilder aims to make an early start on his side's transfer business ahead of their Premier League return.

Freeman has played a starring role for the R's since he arrived at the club in January 2017, and he was involved in 13 goals during his 43 Championship appearances last season as he helped QPR secure Championship safety.

The 27-year-old is now reportedly keen on testing himself in the Premier League for the first time, and the Blades are able to afford him as he falls inside their transfer and wage budget.

The Sun journalist Alan Nixon shared the news on Friday afternoon:

Plenty of QPR fans responded to the news that they could be about to lose their main man, who brought much-need creativity and excitement to the R's side last season. Many fans are questioning why the reported fee is not higher, given his importance to QPR.

Here are some of the reactions from R's fans...
