Phil Parkinson faces another tough test as he runs the rule over his squad going into the weekend.

The Black Cats welcome Blackpool to the Stadium Of Light in the hope of putting an end to their poor form.

Parkinson's side currently sit in 11th place in the League One table - five points off the top six and a staggering 10 off their original target of securing automatic promotion.

A number of injuries - combined with several out of form players - has left the Sunderland boss with some big decisions to make going into the Blackpool clash, but who should start at the Stadium Of Light?

Let's take a look at the side he could select.

Sunderland could be without Jordan Willis for Saturday's clash with Blackpool.

The defender has been struggling with a knee injury during the last few weeks and is a bit doubt for the clash with the Seasiders.

That means that Joel Lynch could come back into the defence alongside Tom Flanagan and Alim Ozturk.

Lynden Gooch could return to action after recovering from an ankle injury, but it unlikely to start the game meaning that Denver Hume could slot into the same midfield that started against Gillingham.

In attack. Charlie Wyke is expected to be handed a start with Chris Maguire also a contender to start the game.

Will Grigg and Marc McNulty started last week's game, but with both players struggling for form it's an area that Phil Parkinson may look to shuffle.
