Last night, Brentford came away from the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, the home of London rivals QPR, with three points following a fairly comfortable 3-1 win.

The win lifted the Bees up to 12th in the table from 14th, and Thomas Frank's side now sit just three points off of the Championship play-offs.

Bees striker Ollie Watkins opened the scoring when he got in between the two home centre-backs and headed in Bryan Mbuemo's cross for 0-1.

QPR captain Grant Hall then headed in to level the scores three minutes after half-time, moments after David Raya had tipped aside a powerful Nahki Wells header.

However, Brentford retook the lead on the hour mark when Mbuemo was fouled by Josh Scowen inside the box, and referee Andy Woolmer pointed to the spot as he awarded a controversial penalty to the visitors. Said Benrahma obliged from the spot, blasting high into the top corner past Liam Kelly.

Brentford then hit QPR on the counter in the last minute, and Watkins slotted in Mathis Jensen's low cross with the last kick of the game to seal the win.

Bees players have been reveling in the win on social media across the night, and one player who has posted on Twitter since has been left-back Rico Henry, who didn't have the easiest night by having to man-mark Ebere Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel throughout the match.
