Charlton gained what could prove to be a crucial point on Wednesday evening, as the Addicks settled for a 0-0 draw against promotion-chasing Fulham at The Valley.
It was the second draw between the sides this term, and Charlton will be feeling the more fortunate of the two, as the Addicks registered just one shot on target during the ninety minutes.
The result keeps Lee Bowyer’s men in 19th place in the Championship table, now with just one win in their last 17 games in the league.
QUIZ: Can you name these 15 ex-Charlton defenders?
Despite failing to pick up the victory they desperately crave, key players returned to the side for this game. Erhun Oztumer, Josh Cullen and Tomer Hemed were all back in the starting lineup, and Jonny Williams and Lyle Taylor featured off the bench.
Charlton captain Jason Pearce was also back in the heart of defence for the Addicks, and here is what the 32-year-old had to say on Twitter after the result:

In what was his first outing since the loss to Swansea on January 2nd, the centre-half produced an assured performance to help his side keep their first clean sheet in the league since mid-October.
Here are what these Charlton fans had to say about his showing against Fulham…
Great performance Jason – Just please be careful with your hands on defending at times please, I know its part of your game but that FK they had on the edge of the box really could have been avoided
