Loads of Cardiff City fans have reacted after fan-favourite and centre-back Sol Bamba was included in the Bluebirds' under-23 side on Monday afternoon.

Neil Warnock has had to do without the experienced defensive rock for the entirety of the current campaign, but appears to be close to welcoming him back.

Losing him to a hamstring injury in March was arguably fatal to the Bluebirds' hopes of staying in the Premier League as they were narrowly relegated.

The 34-year-old scored four goals in 28 top-flight games last season with his absence incredibly noticeable.

But on Monday he was included in the club's reserve side which travelled to Essex to face Colchester United, sparking some excited reactions in the comments.

Friday night saw them drop points at home to Sheffield Wednesday as a late Lee Tomlin free-kick rescued point, leaving them in 11th place.
