“Great three points and an ugly win” – Brentford fans pleased with victory over Millwall

Brentford moved two points clear of the drop zone with a narrow victory over Millwall on Saturday.

The Bees took all three points in this close encounter courtesy of a Romaine Sawyers goal.

Former Walsall midfielder Romaine Sawyers beat Jordan Archer in the Millwall goal from close range two minutes into the second half to give Brentford the lead.

That is how the scoreline remained for the rest of the game.

However, the visitors could have had an equaliser with ten minutes to go.

Lee Gregory’s penalty was saved by Daniel Bentley as Brentford preserved their clean sheet and grabbed victory too.

Brentford fans were delighted with this win after a difficult start to the season.

They are finally showing signs of turning things around and they move up to 18th with these three points – just one point and two places behind Millwall.

Here are how Brentford fans reacted to this win.
