Two heavyweights of the British game, Roy Keane and John Terry, came together last night as their current teams met in Championship action.

Both are playing second fiddle in the dugout, Keane as assistant to Martin O'Neill at Nottingham Forest, whilst John Terry is with Aston Villa in the same role.

Neither shied away from a tackle or confrontation during their time as players and last night, they butted heads once more in a furious touchline bust-up.

Terry and Villa had the last laugh as they effectively ended Forest's hopes of a top-six finish, but added weight to their own late surge for a place in the play-offs. Their 3-1 win raised a few eyebrows, not least those belonging to Roy Keane.

It all started after a rough tackle by Forest's Karim Ansarifard on Neil Taylor. Terry leapt to his feet, Keane followed and for a brief moment, it was like the early naughties all over again.

Here's what the football world thought of two legends once again coming toe to toe in the line of duty.
