Charlton Athletic have confirmed the signing of former Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper, Ben Amos after his contract expired in the summer.

Amos was on loan with Lee Bowyer's side in the 2017/2018 season, and he'll feel as though he's got unfinished business at The Valley.

The shot-stopper made 14 appearances for the Addicks in earlier in his career, and he'll be hoping that he can nail down a regular starting spot next season in the Championship.

Speaking in an interview with the club's official website, Amos issued his thoughts after signing for the club, and is evidently keen to get started.

It feels great, it doesn’t really feel like I’ve been away to be honest. I enjoyed my time here last time, I know a lot of the people and the staff here and I want to play Championship football.

Plenty of Charlton fans took to social media to react to Amos signing on a permanent deal.
