Aston Villa travel to Rotherham tonight seeking a seventh successive win that would strengthen their grip on a play-off spot.

It had been a tough season for Villa who struggled for consistency until the past month or so.

However, one man who has maintained his high standards throughout the campaign is Tammy Abraham, with the on-loan Chelsea man getting his 23rd goal in the league at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Despite a tough spell with Swansea last season in the Premier League, the 21-year-old was seen as a real coup when he arrived at Villa Park, evident by the fans reaction.

That was because of a fantastic spell with Bristol City in a previous loan spell away from Stamford Bridge and Abraham took no time adapting back to life in the Championship.

Not only has he been prolific for Villa, but the twice-capped England international brings a physicality and presence up top that gives Dean Smith's men an outlet.

He can hold the ball up and stretch the opposition with his pace in behind, whilst his link-up play has improved throughout the season too.

In recent weeks the likes of Tyrone Mings and Jack Grealish have taken all the plaudits and you can understand why as they've been fantastic, however Abraham's contribution in this spell can't go unnoticed either.

It's going to require a big end to the season for Villa to keep this play-off spot and to then win promotion and if they are to do so you will imagine Abraham will have a major role to play.
