Charlton striker Macauley Bonne is set to return to the match-day squad against Nottingham Forest after sitting out the last six matches with a hamstring injury, according to head coach Lee Bowyer.

Bonne has not been available for selection since suffering the problem during the Addicks' defeat to Derby back in December, but it now appears as though he is set to give Bowyer's attacking options a boost for the City Ground visit this week.

The former Leyton Orient frontman has netted eight goals in his 20 appearances since joining the South London side, which means he is capable of adding further goals to Charlton's attacking line alongside Lyle Taylor and Andre Green.

The Addicks are in need of a boost following their disappointing 3-1 defeat to Stoke over the weekend, and they will be hoping Bonne can provide this ahead of their difficult trip to face promotion-chasing Forest tomorrow evening.
