Millwall have announced that former defender, Paul Robinson has returned to the club to take become the under 23's team's Elite Development Squad assistant manager.

Robinson made 361 appearances for the Lions earlier in his career, and he'll be hoping to make his mark on the club's under 23's side heading into the new season.

His best moment with the Lions is likely to be the League One play-off final win over Swindon Town in 2010, where he netted the winner on the day.

Robinson had previously been working in a coaching capacity with Portsmouth boss, Kenny Jackett, as they missed out on promotion to the Championship in last year's campaign.

Millwall will be hoping to improve after a disappointing season last term, where Neil Harris' side finished 21st in the Championship table.

Plenty of Millwall supporters were delighted with this recent announcement though.
