Speaking to Leeds United’s official website ahead of their clash with Burton Albion, Garry Monk has confirmed Ronaldo Vieira will be back in contention for the Whites this coming weekend.
Vieira, who has enjoyed a fine breakthrough season at Elland Road, has been struggling with illness recently and didn’t feature for Leeds over the Easter period.
Revealing the 18-year old was back in contention for Leeds’ trip to the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday, Monk said: “Ronaldo Vieira had illness over the last two games, but he is back in training and will be available on Saturday.”

Monk’s side have struggled without Vieira at times this season, particularly in Monday’s defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers, which saw Leeds fall out of the Play-Off places for the first time since November.
Leeds’ trip to Burton is the first of three remaining fixtures that Monk’s side have to win if they are to qualify for the end of season Play-Offs.
Following this weekend, Monk’s side welcome Norwich City to Elland Road, before completing the regular season with a trip to Wigan Athletic.
