Dominic Ball has been impressive for Queens Park Rangers of late.

Ball, 24, joined QPR in the summer after being released by Aberdeen. He'd played 31 times in the SPL last season but began life in West London as a bit-part player under Mark Warburton.

Towards the end of last year, Ball was becoming more of a regular feature for the R's and has so far amassed 17 Championship appearances.

Playing in-front of the defence alongside fellow summer arrival Luke Amos, Ball has asserted himself as a consistent, hard-working member of the team and is now one of the first names on Warburton's team-sheet.

So is he proving to be QPR's best free signing of the season? Six others arrived for free with Ball in the summer, including the likes of Yoann Barbet and Todd Kane.
