West Bromwich Albion have renewed the contract of young striker Jamie Soule who has signed a new three-year deal with the club.

The striker has been a consistent goalscorer across the youth teams over the least three years, scoring 22 goals in 50 games across the last three seasons.

This campaign is proving to be his most successful one yet in terms of his goalscoring return. For the Under-23s, the 18-year-old has managed four goals and three assists in just six matches.

Following these impressive performances, the striker has warranted some interest surrounding his call-up to the senior squad.

The club released the news on a new contract via Twitter, congratulating the academy product on his renewal.

Plenty of fans were quick to follow suit and show their relief on hearing the news of the new agreement for the promising talent at the Hawthorns.

Some think he is close to creeping into the first team with Salven Bilic.
