Unless Aston Villa secure their return to the Premier League via the play-offs, the current campaign will go down in the archives as yet another failed year in the recent history of the Villains.

Having looked so strong for automatic promotion at the turn of the year, Steve Bruce's side fell away as Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cardiff City's fine form continued, leaving them to consider where best to finish with the play-off contenders slowly beginning to emerge.

In a season littered with both negatives and positives, one relief to Bruce is the form of winger Jack Grealish, with the once-touted wonder-kid finally beginning to fulfil his potential in the West Midlands.

Hardly prolific but a regular top performer, the 22-year-old will attract attention from higher up the divisions if Villa are not promoted, with this trio of Premier League sides sure to be keeping tabs on the player...

There is probably not a better club in the top-flight for Grealish right now.

A squad littered with top English talent, Grealish would slot in perfect in either flank at The Vitality Stadium, with strikers Jermain Defoe, Josh King and Callum Wilson sure to gobble up the chances created by the talented wide-man.

Long-serving winger Marc Pugh is looking likely to leave with his contract expiring, and a replacement is desperately needed.

Grealish is desperate to break into the England set-up in the coming years and after young Lewis Cook was handed his debut following an excellent couple of years on the south coast, the Cherries are the squad young England stars will wish to be a part of.

A move to the Hammers could go one of two ways.

Grealish could establish himself as a star, endearing himself to the East London faithful who love nothing more than a top, young English prospect doing the business on a weekly basis.

The other way is to fall into obscurity as so many who have made the switch to the Boleyn Ground and then the London Stadium, have done.

The weight of expectation is high at the club but with Grealish in the form he is currently in, you could expect him to back himself to succeed and impressive under David Moyes.

Just an hour away from his Birmingham home, a switch to Leicester City could be exactly the right move for Grealish.

Am ambitious squad littered with talent, the Foxes could be in the market for a winger or two should Riyad Mahrez finally depart the club having flirted with a move for several years, and Grealish could emerge as a wildcard option for Claude Puel in the transfer market.

The East Midlands side have a number of top prospects on their books already, with former Birmingham City wide-man Demarai Gray one who will surely grow as a player in the coming season and adding Grealish to the mix will only serve to improve upon Puel's options.

After their shock title success of 2016, Leicester must begin to build once again to challenge for a Champions League return, something that will only be achieved by sourcing top talent and nurturing it to reach its full capacity; Grealish falls into that category.

Villa fans, will Grealish leave?
