If you had to choose between Aston Villa's Jack Grealish or both Jota and Jeremie Boga of Birmingham City for your team, who would you choose?

Our writers issue their verdicts....

Adam Simeoni

If Grealish continues to perform at the level he has done in recent weeks, then you have to take the English youngster.

Villa have been in remarkable form and Grealish has played a huge role in their push for the top two, and based on current form, I would rather have him in my squad than the under-performing Blues pair.

Sam Preston

Grealish, all day long. On current form, there isn't a player in the Championship playing better than Grealish. His early season injury has given him the chance to work on his upper body strength and that looks to have taken him up a level.

Jota is a magician and in the right setup, can light up the Championship - the less said about Boga's derby performance on Sunday the better but he has a good future too.

However, Grealish is taking games by the scruff of the neck on a regular basis right now. It has to be him.

George Dagless

I'd go for the Villa man.

Grealish has started to really show his class of late and is running games at the moment.

I can't see him being out of the top flight for next season, either, and so I'd sign him instead of the Blues' pair.

Alfie Burns

This is tough, because Grealish is the standout player, but I’d like to see more from him.

Jota in particular has been disappointing this season, and whilst Boga has had his moments, neither have been as good as Grealish, who in recent weeks has looked back to his best.

For that reason, I’ve got to say the Aston Villa man.
