Bristol City have identified Nahki Wells as a transfer target, according to Mike McGrath of the Telegraph.

The Burnley man who's in his second-straight loan-spell at QPR is hot property right now - Bristol City have joined the race to sign the 29-year-old this month, along with Leeds United and Wigan Athletic.

Wells' Burnley contract expires in the summer.

Bristol City have been linked with any striker that moves this window, and with Burnley eyeing a move for Josh Brownhill, it's thought that Wells could go the other way.

The Bermudan has stated before that he'd 'love to stay at QPR' but that it's a matter between the clubs.
