Plenty of Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield Town supporters have reacted to Joe Lolley's putdown of a Birmingham City fan on Twitter.

The Reds winger was sent the harsh message from the supporter after he exuberantly celebrated his first goal of the season against the Blues on Saturday at the City Ground.

Forest went on to clinch a comfortable 3-0 victory over Birmingham thanks to further goals from Lewis Grabban and Michael Dawson.

The first-half effort from Lolley took his personal total in clashes with the Blues to five, with two of those coming at St Andrew's during his time at Huddersfield Town.

Making reference to the fact that he had previously bagged on Birmingham's patch before to one of their unbeknownst fans, Lolley tweeted: "Been there, done that."

Upon seeing this post, plenty of fans reacted on Twitter to laud the winger.

Here are some of the best responses...

Having opened his account for the 2019/20 campaign, Lolley will be aiming to find the back of the net once again when Forest head to The Valley on Wednesday to face Charlton Athletic.

If Sabri Lamouchi's side can clinch all three points, they could close the gap between them and the top six in the Championship.
