Joe Worrall pulled no punches after Nottingham Forest's 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough on Monday night.

The Reds rescued a point late on when Lewis Grabban tapped home from close-range on 86 minutes, but they weren't at their best on Teesside by any means.

Sabri Lamouchi's side take the lead on the night when Ryan Yates fired home from the edge of the area on 29 minutes, but they chucked that lead away right before half-time.

Two goals in quick succession from Rudy Gestede and Lewis Wing fired Boro into a 2-1 lead before the interval, as Forest produced one of their most below-par performances of the season so far.

They did show character to grab a late equaliser, though, with Lewis Grabban flicking past Aynsley Pears to salvage a last-gasp point for the Reds.

Speaking to Sky Sports post-match - via Nottinghamshire Live - Worrall wasn't happy with his side's performance, though.

He said: "We were rubbish first half. The lot of us were pants. We sat down at half-time and weren't happy.

"But at the end of the day we have come away with a point. We started the game with that and it is always nice to go away with at least what you came with.

"But yeah it is not good enough a draw is not good enough we should be winning that game."

Forest conceded two very cheap and sloppy goals on Monday night, with Gestede causing plenty of problems for Lamouchi's men throughout the evening.

Here, we take a look at Forest fans' reactions to his comments, via the Nottingham Forest News page on Facebook...

Stuart Rowe: Tbh until Diakhaby came on he was the worst player on the pitch. Got absolutely bullied by Gestede

Craig Price: You have to love the honesty of this squad and manager. Refreshing for sure

Mike Proctor: He was pants against Gestede, who caught him wrong footed and unable to jump when he scored the header. IMO

Lindsey Goodband: Love his honesty.

Lynn Sanderson: Love his honesty

Malcolm Marks: Spoke on behalf of 30000 fans.
