‘Got a lot to prove’ – These Tranmere fans react to the club’s latest squad development

Tranmere Rovers kept their busy week going with a signing yesterday, a contract extension for former West Brom forward Ishmael Miller as reported by their official Twitter account.
The 32-year-old, who began his career with Manchester City, penned a six-month extension to the short term contract he signed in January. He started last season with Oldham Athletic, but moved to Prenton Park in the winter transfer window.
Miller is a two-time Championship winner, once with the Baggies in 2008 and again with Queens Park Rangers in 2010. Since then his career has become somewhat nomadic, with spells at Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough, Yeovil, Bury, Blackpool and Huddersfield as well as the short stay at Boundary Park.
He made just two appearances for Tranmere, scoring on his debut against Cheltenham and coming off after just 29 minutes of their 2-1 home defeat against Swindon.
Injury decimated the second part of the season, but he’s now got a period in which to prove himself to the Tranmere fans, some of whom met the announcement with a mixture of sarcasm and indifference, as you’ll read below.
Give the bloke a chance! Injury killed it for him last year, his experience at this level and above could be a big bonus. 6 month contract isn't too big a risk either.

He was brilliant in the Away game and was on goal when he was injured. Yep six months if he stays fit he will be a great asset.
