New Derby County boss Phillip Cocu appears to have been impressed by Pride Park after making what is likely his first visit to the stadium as the Rams boss.

The Dutchman was appointed by Derby at the start of the month, replacing Frank Lampard who took the manager's job at his former club Chelsea.

The club posted a video of Cocu walking out at Pride Park for what seems to be the first time during his tenure to their official Twitter account and it appears the stadium has made a great first impression.

Walking out with coaches Twan Scheepers and Liam Rosenior, Cocu remarks: "I love it".

The 48-year-old's first job in senior management was at PSV Eindhoven, where he led the Dutch side to three league titles in five seasons.

His brief spell at Fenerbahce was not quite as impressive, as the Dutchman was sacked after just three months and 15 games in charge.

Derby begin their Championship season against Huddersfield on the 5th August but Cocu will have to wait until the visit of Swansea City five days later for his first game in charge at Pride Park.

Many Rams fans appear excited for their new boss to get started and were impressed by the 48-year-old's reaction to his new home.
