West Ham United have completed the signing of Darren Randolph from Middlesbrough.

The 32-year-old has moved to East London for an undisclosed fee just two-and-a-half years after moving to the North East from the Hammers.

Randolph was expected to complete the move last week but the move stalled after West Ham had concerns over the goalkeeper's medical results.

The stopper had been out of action for almost two months with a thigh injury, but those worries have now been subsided with the move officially completed.

Speaking to Middlesbrough's official website about the move, Woodgate said: "Darren has been a great player for this football club. He is a terrific professional who wants to play in the Premier League, and this is an opportunity for him.

“We wish Darren the very best of luck for the future.”

The Republic Of Ireland international was a popular figure at the Riverside Stadium and so supporters are naturally disappointed with the decision to let one of their best players leave the club.

Here's how supporters reacted on social media.
