Nottingham Forest have made a promising start to the Championship season under Sabri Lamouchi, but many fans at the City Ground still feel that the club will need to sign a new striker in January.
Lewis Grabban is currently the Reds’ main striker and has already scored ten goals in the Championship this season, with Rafa Mir – who is on loan at the City Ground from Wolves – acting as backup.
Mir has really struggled to make an impact since he joined the Reds in the summer and has failed to find the back of the net. Many Forest supporters feel that the club would not be able to rely on him if Grabban was to suffer an injury.
With the January transfer window just around the corner, Forest have been linked with several strikers, but some fans at the City Ground would like to see the club recall Tyler Walker from his loan spell at Lincoln City.
The 23-year-old has already scored ten goals for the Imps in all competitions so far this season and many Forest fans feel that he is ready to make an impact in the Championship.
The young striker – who scored 26 goals while on loan at Mansfield Town last season – has scored four goals in 33 Championship appearances for Forest so far in his career, although the majority of his league outings have come from the substitutes’ bench.

City Ground HQ asked Forest supporters on Twitter whether the club should recall Walker from his loan spell at Sincil Bank in January and many were quick to respond to the question. Here is a look at some of the comments…
Yes! How many more times does he have to prove that he can score goals

No leave him where he is playing games and improving. Reassess in the summer. We need some quality to come in and hit the ground running in January.

Let's just see who Sabri has lined up first. But yes without a doubt if no striker is brought in January. 29+ goals from Grabbs plus 10 from another striker = a very good chance of promotion. #NFFC

It's a good shout. But I believe they cant recall him unless it's an emergency.

No. Scoring goals for Lincoln is very different from scoring for @NFFC in the championship.
