Sheffield Wednesday are set for a summer of change, as they look to adjust to life in League One, following their relegation from the Championship this term.

The Owls drew 3-3 with Derby County on the final day of the 2020/21 season, which saw them drop into the third-tier of English football for next year's league campaign.

The club have already announced that a number of players will leave Hillsborough when their contracts reach a conclusion this summer.

One of those to depart is Kadeem Harris, with the former Cardiff City winger making 88 appearances for the club in total, after arriving back in 2019.

Harris took to Instagram to send a message to Sheffield Wednesday supporters after his departure was confirmed, and labelled it as an 'honour' to wear the shirt.

"I just want to thank everybody at @swfcofficial, players, staff and fans especially for all the love and support you’ve shown me and this team for the last two seasons.

"It’s a shame things didn’t end as well as they started nevertheless it was an honour to wear the shirt and I’ll always have love and respect for you all. I wish you nothing but the best for the future and I’m sure you’ll bounce back next season!"

Plenty of Sheffield Wednesday supporters took to social media to react to Harris' farewell message, with some being more positive than others.
