Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi has been linked with a move to Napoli this summer, which might be for the best, as the club need to start rebuilding for next season.
The French defender, who at one point was tipped as £25million-rated player by Aston Villa boss Tony Xia, hasn’t impressed the Villa faithful in the slightest this season and the need to bring in some new faces to freshen things up this summer is evident.
Villa went seriously stale as they were relegated from the Premier League last season and they’re at risk of falling for the same problem this summer, if they don’t reinvest and move along some of the deadwood.
There’s thought amongst the Villa faithful that whilst Amavi has been a decent player during his time at the club, he’s not played to his full potential and that was evident on Twitter after the player was linked with a move away from the club…
We should keep him, he could be the French Gareth Bale ????

Get a good price for him, wish him the best, nice lad, and get a good fulltime experienced keeper or Johnstone if possible
