UEFA have confirmed that the European Championship, scheduled to take place at the end of this season, has been moved back to the summer of 2021 after recent global developments have put a halt on all football.

Many players from across the Championship will have been looking forward to a hectic summer representing their countries at the Euro’s and Leeds United aren’t short of representatives for the upcoming finals.

At present, Leeds have nine senior internationals playing in their squad with a number of youth internationals too, with the regular representatives Stuart Dallas (Northern Ireland), Mateusz Klich (Poland), Gjanni Alioski (North Macedonia), Liam Cooper (Scotland) and Tyler Roberts (Wales) all having a chance at making it to the finals this year.

All five of those are in with a chance of qualifying for the tournament, with Klich’s Poland automatically qualifying, and the rest need to go through the play-offs if they are to make it to the finals.

However, recent events have seen this pushed back a year as UEFA confirmed they are not to hold Euro 2020 in 2020, but will be moving it back a year to ensure the current club seasons are finished as expected.

This now leaves those five Leeds players with a lengthy period away from international football to gear up for the tournament (or at least the play-offs).

As Leeds United fans were updated on the postponements, plenty of fans were keen to wade in on their players being dealt with an international setback...

Can you name the clubs where these Leeds players started out?
