Brighton reportedly have no intention of selling defender Ben White amidst rumoured Premier League interest, which has drawn an interesting reaction from Leeds United fans.

White joined Leeds on a season-long loan in the summer and has been fantastic for the Yorkshire club so far.

The 22-year-old has stepped into the void left by Pontus Jansson and helped Leeds concede the fewest goals in the Championship, picking up the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for August along the way.

According to Football Insider, his early-season performances have drawn the attention of Liverpool, who are keeping tabs on the defender.

The report suggests that Brighton now value the centre-back at more than £20 million and are optimistic he can establish himself in their side after he returns from loan.

BBC journalist Adam Pope has reported that the Seagulls "have no intention of selling White", despite interest from other Premier League sides.

Supporters of the Yorkshire club are understandably keen to secure White permanently and Darren Bent has suggested that the move could happen if Leeds are promoted.

Pope's update on White's future has drawn a mixed response from Whites supporters, with some considering it good news and others suggesting the club have no chance of sealing a deal.
