Leeds United’s recent run of form in the Sky Bet Championship, which has seen them win just twice in their last eight fixtures, has been extremely worrying, dampening the mood at Elland Road after a fantastic start to life under Thomas Christiansen.

Christiansen’s side head to Brentford this evening with not much to be positive about, with Leeds now sat outside the top-six for the first time since August. However, the Whites have given supporters an encouraging update ahead of Saturday’s clash at Brentford, sharing images of Caleb Ekuban back in first-team training after a lengthy lay-off with a foot injury.

Ekuban has been absent since early August, and has made just two appearances for Leeds this season. Those two appearances were extremely encouraging, with the 23-year-old scoring one goal and assisting another.

As expected, Leeds’ supporters were delighted to see Ekuban back in training, with many sharing the same view that they can’t wait to see him back in the first-team.

Here is some reaction…
