It was previously revealed last week that former Chelsea and Manchester United chief executive Peter Kenyon is working with Bolton Wanderers on a consultancy basis.

The Trotters are currently struggling to stay afloat in League One, and are 18 points adrift of safety, and it only seems like a matter of time before their relegation is confirmed this season.

The Bolton News also claim that they are set to create a new post that will liaise between the manager and coaching staff and club's chief executive, before the end of the month.

In an interview with The Bolton News, Bolton boss Keith Hill expressed his delight at the proposed structural setup, and is looking forward to his future with the League One side.

"It will be an exciting plan, there’s no question about that.

"We’re looking forward to not just recruitment now but also in the future because I want to build a football team that is going to be really successful."

Plenty of Bolton supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on this recent update from Hill.
